Wowee this is quite the post! I love all your sweet little cottage touches. Thank you so much for always stopping by with such kind words. I'm so glad you appreciate and can use my graphics. As far as the felting question.....I think you might be making Easter eggs, or pink bunnies, or maybe those are just the bunny tails???? I used to do felting about 15 years ago, but I stopped when I kept punching my fingers more than the wool. Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Meri
Hello Carolynn, Love the Desert Rose pattern. My MIL had the Franciscan apple pattern - it's at my home now. Love the little cream and sugar that you thrifted too - what a lucky find!
I'm guessing a bunny on the needlefelting. Can't wait to see what you are up to. We like so many of the same things. I love that picture of you MIL. Priceless!
Truly a wonderful post...
Love all of your pretties ;)

Hi Carolynn~
You make me feel like a slug! Such wonderful talent you have!! The Christening gown is gorgeous, so fine and dainty. My Mother had Desert Rose as her good china. It has stood the test of time. I love the picture of your dear Mother-in-Law, so sweet.
I know nothing about needle felting so I have no idea what you're making, I just know I'm going to love it!!

You have some lovely things in your home. My grandmother had the desert rose pattern. I always loved it! Your sewing is just awesome....a talent I wish I had!
What a sweet pic of your mother in law.
Love the eggs too! :)
Have a great day!
Tammy
I adore all your beautiful pictures. Fresh eggs are so pretty and taste so god! Yes, they remind me of Spring, too. I love the Desert Rose <3 It is so pretty!!
Blessings,
Susie
PS Love your header !!
I love all your pretties! The dessert rose tea pot is so pretty. I have an ivy pattern platter by them that was my moms and I just love it. Seeing the crochet lace that your grandma made reminds that I need to go through my diolies and find a beautiful handcrocheted table rummer that was my aunts. I just love dishes and handcrafted things from the past. They are all so beautifully done with so much love and care. Have a beautiful day!
Oh, Spring! Spring colors are my favorite colors. I could decorate with them year round. My husband calls them ice cream colors! :-) If you could picture it in a bowl of ice cream (or an Easter Egg basket), then I'll like it! :-)
~Angela~
Thank You so much for visiting my button Post, I do like my buttons
That Desert Rose dishes brings back old memories, When I was first married , well we ran away and got married so I didn't have a shower or anything, back to my story
I met a new friend who just got married and she choose Desert Rose dishes for her china, I thought it was so pretty
Oh how I love the sweet colors of all your photos. Like a breath of Spring! The photo of your mil is so precious. And you know that I adore your vintage dishes. I have a freind that collects Desert Rose. I love it but vowed to not start anything new. When ever I run across a piece at a thrift store I can't leave it behind so I pick it up for her. I am mailing my spoolie swap tomorrow. Oh my gosh, I received mine from my partner yesterday and it's FAB-U-Lous! Have you got yours yet? So glad that you will be sharing this with SYC.
hugs,
Jann

What wonderful precious photographs, Laurie. I reall admire all the handwork that must go into those beautiful Christening gowns. And I love the pretty teacups and thrifted pieces you have. I have some Desert Rose Franciscan ware from my grandmother as well... a mug and the salt and pepper shakers. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Hello Carolynn. You have some wonderful vintage treasures and you have displayed them very prettily in your home. I love old china dishes too. I'm visiting from Daily Cup Thursday over at Jann's. Blessings, Pamela
Something felted? What a dear photo of your MIL! Love all your pretty things especially the Desert Rose teapot and the tiny thrifted tea cup.
Wonderful treasures!! My mom inherited a set of desert rose. Yes, I saw your beautiful blueware. Still deciding what box to pack. I can imagine how Oregon is today! Hope as pretty as texas!
Hmmm, I didn't read the other comments, but it looks like needle felting??? Eggs??? Something cute I know!! And I'm so excited to have you visit and share such pretty lovelies with us this week!
My Grossmutter had that same compote jar (the one with the pearls dripping out of it), when I was a child. She had two of them in her hallway as soon as you walked in her front door. I had to dust them. When she retired to a retirement home, my sister and I each got to choose one. I actually chose the red one, because red was my fave color as a child, but as soon as I saw yours, I remembered it!
Have a lovely week!
Blessings,
Doni
I love the Desert Rose pattern dishes. Tt looks like you are felting something in pink. Roses? Bunny tales?
Will have to wait to see in the next post. Have a wonderful weekend!
Oh, this post is filled with so much loveliness! Everything is so pretty! Thank you for sharing at TTF. Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The crocheted lace is my absolute favourite... especially because your grandma made it. :)
I think you are felting, but I have never done it,so not sure. I see you love heirloom sewing and christening gowns just like me. I love the batiste and voile too. I am now following to see all your projects. :)

This such a nostalgic post and you have such lovely treasures and so well displayed!
Beautiful:)
Blessings from over the big pond!
I was looking at the picture of your husband's mother. I have several pictures of myself in those days...when they painted the girls faces with bright rosy cheeks. A wonderful memory.
Balisha
Carolynn, This is such a sweet post. It's such a loving tribute that you have used your husband's mother in your header. I am so excited to see your Desert Rose teapot. I gave my newlywed daughter my complete set. She uses them as her everyday dishes, and she says it reminds her of her loving childhood. I love these tender connections from one generation to the next.
LOVED your underwear story! Thank you so much for making my day! E
I love this picture of your husband's mother. All of it is lovely!
Sherry
