I love making aprons as gifts. They are a passion for me with their old fashioned charm. I have always felt that the gifts I give should be the gifts I would love to receive.

| Just right for Mommy's little helper! |
I had the fun of making this little apron for my great niece, Ainsley. She's our family's miracle baby! She was born two years ago prematurely at 27 weeks. Baby Ainsley weighed 2 lbs. 11 oz. Last week, she went to the doctor and weighed in at 29 incredibly wonderful pounds. She's healthy, happy and such a sweet little girl!
She celebrated her second birthday this past weekend. Happy Birthday, Ainsley Marie!
To God be the glory! We thank Him for touching our little angel girl!
It was a pleasure stitching up this summery apron for my friend, Sharon. I hope she will wear it in comfort and good health. It is a colorful version of my original flapper style apron that I shared in one of my previous posts.

| I enjoy personalizing each apron I make with my "Chenille Cottage" labels. I machine embroidery my labels on twill tape. |

What darling aprons! Where did you get the cute labels?
Such wonderful treasures you have sewn, your niece and Sharon will be sooo thrilled to get these lovely aprons. Sue
More gorgeous creations...Continued blessings for little Ainsley. Do you make those little labels or do you have them made? They are just as sweet. Smiles...Renee
Such beautiful creations Carolynn!! Love the sweet summer apron you made! Happy Birthday to Ainsley Marie, what a little blessing she is!! Happy Monday! xo Heather
I love your aprons, Carolynn. My Daddy used to but me aprons on pay day every month when I was little and the love of them has stayed with me ever since. I feel so comforted when I am wearing one. xxx
Happy birthday to your great niece. I love the aprons, they're so cute. I wish we had some of your sunshine, all we've had is rain and more rain! Lots of love xxx
Hello dear Carolynn! My...your aprons are beautiful! I can't imagine a more wonderful gift, made with such love and detail! Cute, cute, cute! And the embroidred labels are such a special (and professional!) touch! Love all of it, and I'm sure your very blessed recipients will too! Much love, and yes, amen...let's rejoice! Tania ♥
I love your aprons, Carolynn. This orange one would for sure brighten a gloomy and rainy day like today. xx
Oh my, I'm in apron love. How cute is that. I also love how you do your labels with your machine, I wish I had one of those! Your niece is a lucky girl!
As the proud owner of one of your aprons, let me say that your sewing and creativity are Godly gifts indeed. I never would sell my crafts because I get so much enjoyment out of making and giving. Sometimes a little voice whispers that someone needs some extra love and something special. A great lady in our church once said to never ignore the inspiration to do something nice for someone. You are that kind of person, Carolynn. You are one-of-a-kind...like your aprons.
Hi Carolynn,
I love both aprons, and the one for your friend, is the most gorgeous colours,-love your labels too, so sweet, and looks so proof with such a label in the aprons.
Hugs,Dorthe
I love your aprons! I like to make them too. The hard part is giving them away..I want them all. But I have a sister that is a cook and so its fun to make them for her.
Praise the Lord for Ainsley! Loved this testimony and loved seeing your aprons. I could not agree more. We should give with love the kind of gifts we ourselves would wish to receive. Excellent!
Ohhh I'm in love! I do love me some aprons! I agree that they make adorable gifts - if we can give them away. :0)
I do love your machine embroidered labels. I've tried and tried to figure out how to do it on twill tape, but have yet to master it. Any tips? I'd LOVE to know how so I don't have to order them.
Love your blog! I'm a new follower now. :0)
All such darling aprons, and you always manage to put together the cutest fabric combinations and trims! Bless Ainsley's little heart, how wonderful she is doing so well :)
Oh, Carolynn! What charming aprons, what happy colors. Haha...had a giggle over your ricrac sentiment. I saw some adorable aprons today in Old Towne Orange, a historic area in Southern California. My husband and I had breakfast at Watsons, which has been in business 100 yrs! They have vintage decor, a jukebox and up until a month or so ago there was also the original Pharmacy! They removed the pharmacy and extended the gift area. I took some pics...maybe a blog post about it soon? :)
hugs
Shawn
