I'm almost as crazy about pillows as I am about aprons!

Linda's blog "it all started with paint" is hosting a link party. I just couldn't resist joining in on the fun!

I made these little pillows from vintage quilt blocks & linens.

There are two rooms in my home that are painted in soft pastels...our master bedroom and guestroom.

As much as I love the color RED...I enjoy peaceful pastels to slip away to for a pleasant nap or a good nights sleep.

Very inexpensive project...Made from a drapery sample & thrifted vintage crochet.

I was blessed to attend a Martha Pullen Heirloom School and learned wonderful sewing techniques.

Soft blue silk ribbon
A fun project that I made at Martha Pullen's Heirloom Sewing School.

Another inexpensive project...Made from a well worn table cloth.

A bolster that I made from drapery scraps...

Bluework embroidery on linen...Don't you love these two little sweethearts?!

Thank you, my dearest friends, for stopping by and for your kind comments!
You are all such a blessing to me,
Carolynn  xoxo

Please stop by and join in the fun at Linda's "Pillowpalooza"!

The pillows are all darling. Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd have to go with the Blue Work! Just too cute. You are "SEW" talented! :)

Hi Carolynn, You pillows are so gorgeous! I think my favorite is the bluework, but they are all wonderful!

Gorgeous gorgeous cushions here Carolynn and what a variety!!! The blue embroidery reminds me of DEFT china from the Netherlands. The patterns they use on their fine china are always in this type of blue. You have made these cushions and pillows really original.

Keep well

Amanda :-)

Thet bluework embroidery pillow is the sweetest thing! I browsed around your blog and came to the post with the Dorothy costume you made for your granddaughter. My mohter made that same costume for our oldest daughter and it was always my favorite. The photo of your adorable granddaughter wearing it brings back memories. Love your blog header!

Oh what beautiful work! Its a an art form that so many of my own friends have not acquired. So many of us who don't sew or embroider or do much in the way of crafts. So I truly appreciate those that can and do! Blue is my favorite color- oh how I love the variety of blue you've shown!

Oh the blu embroidered pillow-I just love it. All your pillows are really nice. My bedroom is pastel too, even though I'm a red girl at heart. I think you need a break in certain areas. Great post!

Those pillows are amazing. I have been making pillows for my daughters and granddaughters. Today's project is a pillow for the 14 year old honoring the band "One Direction." Wish my grandma had made me a Monkees! =D
