Monkeying Around

Good Monday Morning....My sweet family and friends! Many people don't like Mondays...but, I do!

Today, I have the pleasure of spending the day hanging out in my sewing room...or, as I like to call it..."My Sandbox".   (I'm like a child who, once I start sewing, doesn't want to stop...No matter what!)

Can you hear me singing..."The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Music"?

Whatever in the world made you think that RED IS MY FAVORITE COLOR?

I hope you will come back in a few days...I will be posting some of the sewing projects that I have had the fun of stitching up.

Have a great week, sweet friends!
Blessings,
Carolynn xoxo

I posted my Red Sock Monkeys on REDNESDAY... www.suelovescherries.blogspot.com

Ooh...! What loveliness abounds in your sewing room! I ♥♥♥ it! Your monkey duo are too cute, and all the red is delicious! I drooled over every little detail...the red house of cottons, your curtain valance, all your collections...sigh...I cannot wait to see what you create in there! Hope you have a fabulous time in there! Much love to you, Tania ♥

You know what? I never had a sock monkey and I grew up in the 60's so you would think that at some point I would have had one, right? Can't wait to see what you are sewing!

Blessings

Carolynn,
What beautiful RED eye candy. I am swooning over those vignettes. The little sewing machine, sock monkey, adorable checked window topper-I love it all!I love Mondays too, although I usually don't get to play in my "sandbox" until later in the week. I hope you have fun and create something wonderful.

You are making me smile...as I head down to my little happy place this morning I will be humming my favorite tune "Don't Rain on My Parade" and if the humming doesn't work I can always turn the song on for the kids to hear! My daughter loves sock monkeys...Something I need to put in her stocking for sure...smiles...Renee

I don't mind Mondays, provided I don't have to be somewhere. I like to tidy up and then spend time playing. I love your tiny sock monkey...I made sock monkeys for both my granddaughters, but haven't seen any as tiny as yours! Looking forward to seeing your next projects...and thank you for the lovely, happy little collage, so inspiring :)
Happy Monday, dear friend!

Hi Carolynn,

How divine! Another red devotee and illustrated with such talent! Love the gingham valence with the cute-as-can-be pom poms and the lampshade that matches! I actually think we have the same lampshade, sans the pom poms of course, that extra touch just makes it totally unique! I think I got mine at Walmart, but can't remember as it was quite a while ago. Thanks for dropping by my place; it was great to 'meet' you.

Sewing was never may thing. I took homemaking in school, but was not good at that. I did better in cooking. We all have different taste. I enjoy seeing what others create tho.
