Tea Party

Do you remember the quaint little tune......"Tea for Two.....and Two for Tea"?  This past weekend the Woman's Ministry where I worship hosted a Mother's Day Tea.  But, instead of having two for tea...we had over 50 lovely ladies attend!

Several talented ladies hosted individual tables. Each table was beautifully decorated according to each woman's taste. There were so many lovely arrangements and color schemes.

Many ladies brought teapots so that everyone's teacups were kept full to the brim with piping hot tea!

But, before you go......my sweet blogging friends!

YOU JUST HAVE TO SEE THE DELECTABLE TREATS THE LADIES BROUGHT TO SHARE!!!

Hold onto your Hats.....and, your waistlines!!!

My darling friend, Trish, artfully made this incredibly cute turtle just bursting with colorful fruit!

Fresh Fruit...So healthy!
Carrot Cake..Ooo..LaLa!

Shortbread artfully dipped in chocolate...

Beautiful, luscious Berries and Kiwi...

Cucumber Sandwiches...

Cream Cheese and Chives on Cucumbers!

Fruit & Nut Balls...100% Healthy with dried cranberries, pistachios, almonds, coconut & agave

Whole Wheat Tortilla Rollups made with jalapenos, black olives and cream cheese

Fruit and Cheese Kabobs...

Creamy Chicken Salad Tarts...

Fresh Fruits and Veggies...Jicama, Pomegranate seeds, Cucumbers, Mouth watering Watermelon....

Glazed Pastries...

Vanilla Scones and Brownies...

Cream Cheese Stuffed Strawberries with Sliced Almonds
Plenty more Iced Carrot Cake...

Savory beef, olives on cream cheese topped crouettes...

AND,..................LAST BUT NOT LEAST.....THE WHIPPED CREAM!

There was something for everyone!

I hope each one of you had a wonderful Mother's day! I wish you could have been my guest this past weekend...as you can see, there was enough food for a small country!

Blessings and hugs,
Carolynn xoxo

Hello my dear friend! All I can say, is WOW!!! I haven't had breakfast yet, and I feel REALLY hungry right now. What a gorgeous spread! There is nothing quite like the fellowship that one has with women who all share the love of Jesus! Every detail is a testimony of the abundance and love you have in Him! Hope you have a truly wonderful weekend! Much l♥ve, Tania

Hi Carolynn - what amazing yummy looking food! I feel really hungry just looking at it. I hope you wore a stretchy waisted skirt!! Since I have been in blogland I have been encouraged but just how many creative and talented 'everyday' people there are and also by the effort that people put in to things. Currently I live in a very uninspiring town in the middle of England and I had begun to think that creativity had become the occupation of only a few. Lily. xxx

Hello Carolynn
I've just come over from The Home Nest and now I am your newest follower and what a delight it has been to browse through your blog!
I have to admit though I rushed rather quickly through all the goodies because they make me drool too much...I am rather partially to a lot of those dishes there but I really must not be tempted...great photos though.
How wonderful that your mother has reached 90 years old...oh my what she has been able to tell you...what she has seen....marvelous indeed! There is nothing like family is there so I imagine you've had a fantastic celebration.
As for the teapots what a collection.
I'm off back into your blog now to browse a bit more.

Amanda :-)
