Pretty Pincushion
Last year I had the pleasure of making this little pinnie for my darling adopted daughter, Paula, of "Sweet Vintage Rose Cottage" She has become so very dear to me as she has gone through so many adversities with her health. We have prayed for each other every day and encouraged one another. If you haven't visited her lovely blog, please do. You will come away blessed by one of the sweetest, most feminine blogs, ever!
I love searching for little children's shoes at thrift stores and have found such precious ones. This is a little snippet of the "before"...that, I made darling Paula's little pink and white pinnie. Happily, I still have one more sweet little shoe waiting to become a pretty little pinnie!
Thank you so much for visiting and leaving me your kind comments!
Blessings, my dear friends!
Carolynn xoxo

Hello precious lady! What an inspired idea to make a pin cushion from a darling little shoe! I have one solitary baby shoe from when I was a baby, and it just sits in a box in the attic. I think I might fish it out and put it to use! I'm sure Paula is tickled pink with her pin cushion!
You know, there is nothing greater than having a friend who prays with you through tough times. 'For where two or more are gathered (I believe even in spirit if divided by a large pond!), there am I in the midst of them!' It's wonderful to know and have friends of faith! Thank you for being a blessing and a testimony through your wonderful blog! Much love, Tania ♥
These really make me smile...I love the added little millinery. A happy place for pins to rest..smiles...Renee
Growing up in a time before all the wondrous inventions we now take for granted, I would have never conceived of the friendships that would be made over the Internet. The closest I came to a long distance friendship was when I wrote to a penpal in the Philipines. I've made so many wonderful friends online and I am happy to have you among them. What a wonderful time we live in!=D
It is nice to see it again, so cute my friend. I know Paula cherishes it.Did you change the background to blue dots? I like it! Blue is my favorite color.
anyhooo...
Did you know your going to have a wonderful week?
Hugs and good wishes, with sunshine and kisses!

Hello my precious adopted momma! I love my pretty pink pinnie very much and treasure it, as I do all the gorgeous things you have made for me and given to me! I treasure you most of all! You are so loving, kind, thoughtful and generous! I am so very, very thankful that the Lord brought you into my life. He knew how much I needed you and the love you so freely give! Your heart is so full of love for Jesus, it overflows and touches the lives of everyone that encounters you! What a blessing that is! You did such a beautiful job making this for me! You are so talented and creative! I have it in my sewing room and enjoy looking at it every day. You know the pink is my favorite color and it was so sweet of you to make it in pink just for me. I am glad you have another one and I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Thank you for being with me through all I have gone through and for your faithful prayers! I am so thankful to have your prayers and to be able to pray for you and encourage you as you do me! I love you so very much and could never express enough how much you mean to me and how grateful I am for you! Thank you for all of the love and kindness you continually show me! Thank you for your lovely words about my blog! I feel the very same about yours and I am very happy you began blogging! I love you and hope you have a beautiful week sweetheart! I will write you soon! Hugs and kisses~ your girlie
