My Cottage Guest Room...Part 2
How I love spending the day visiting thrift and antique shops! I have found, over the years, many vintage garments, fabrics and what-nots. I love finding a good bargain and my guest room is where many have been destined to live. I've been blessed with a large collection of "Precious Moments" that have been gifted to me through the years from dear family and friends. I love each one! I made the 30s log cabin quilt for my precious cat Chloe who I lost to kidney failure. When I see her blankie I remember snuggling her in it.

When our dear Golden, Jack, passed away I made my husband a rag lap quilt out of Jack's bandanas (there was quite a collection) He has it folded on his TV chair. He loves having something to remember his buddy by. Thanks for showing the dear quilt...our animal companions are precious.

I love the Precious Moments, too, and have a small collection. Each one was a special gift. That is such a lovely display on your shelf, including Chloe's darling quilt...what a sweet reminder of your dear little cat. You are truly blessed to still have your mom in your life, and I'm sure she must feel pampered each time she visits :)
